Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Decatur United States location (1948 E Eldorado St.). As an Assistant Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations leading staff and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals
- Lead motivate and train team members to maintain high performance standards
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory including ordering receiving and stocking merchandise
- Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Assist in hiring training and developing new team members
- Monitor and maintain store appearance cleanliness and organization
- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance
- Handle cash management and financial reporting responsibilities
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in retail or customer service with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency including experience with POS systems and scheduling software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices
- Experience in staff training and development preferred
