Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team in Hyderabad India. As a Corporate Lawyer you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal advice and support to our organization across various aspects of corporate law.
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance compliance and regulatory matters
- Draft review and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements
- Manage mergers and acquisitions including due diligence processes and transaction documentation
- Advise on intellectual property rights and protection strategies
- Ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal departments to mitigate legal risks and resolve disputes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations when required
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Valid license to practice law in India and membership in the Bar Council of India
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions corporate transactions and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws and regulations
- Expertise in corporate law securities law intellectual property law and employment law
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in contract drafting and review
- In-depth understanding of corporate governance principles
- Experience with legal software and databases
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
