Test Engineer

What will you be doing 

Were seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join a growing engineering team developing next-generation energy systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a mechanical background and strong experience in testing test rig setup and delivering high-quality test solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Designing and setting up test rigs for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Defining test strategies requirements and validation plans to meet project goals.
• Supporting commissioning and sign-off of test rigs ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Building and assembling prototype systems and equipment for testing purposes.
• Collaborating with design and development teams to troubleshoot optimise and document test result

Who are we looking for 

• A proactive engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and practical system testing.
• Strong mechanical background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and system layouts.
• Experience in test rig design commissioning and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

• Degree or Bsc or Msc in Mechanical Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in test engineering or product validation.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly instrumentation and test equipment setup.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements for test environments.
• Previous experience in energy automotive or aerospace sectors is a plus.
