Job Summary
CEDA is currently seeking Operators for our Pressure & Vacuum division at our Fort McMurray AB! Opportunity to learn and gain experience on other pieces of equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work alongside Labourers operating and maintaining Vacuum trucks High Pressure Water equipment and various specialty tools
- Proficient in driving manuals transmissions on commercial vehicles
- 90% of your day is outside of the truck boots on the ground!
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment our experienced crew has your back
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Challenge your eye for detail practice what we preach. Take your time get the job done right the first time and safely every time
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is required
- Driving is in your nature then passing CEDAs Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10 13 and 18 speed)
- Prior experience driving a Vacuum Truck is an asset.
- 1 years of operator experience in an industrial environment
- CSO certification required
- H2S Alive First Aid Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
