Temporary Grade 1 Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Grade 1 Teacher at Christ-King School in Stettler Alberta.

This is a full-time temporary contract position replacing maternity leave. Duties are to commence on May 5 2026 and the contract will terminate on June 26 2026 (possibility of extension into the following school year).

Individuals exhibiting the following education characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:

Bachelor of Education
Ability to teach Grade 1 subjects with some literacy intervention responsibilities
Focus on high quality student-centered learning
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs)
Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
