Job Summary
Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
Location: Hackensack NJ 07601
Weekly Pay: $2232 (Travel) $1908 (Local)
Schedule Options:
Night Shift: 6:45 PM 7:00 AM 3 x 12-hour shifts/week
Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM 3 x 12-hour shifts/week
Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays required as needed; no on-call requirement.
Position Overview:
A reputable healthcare organization is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. The role involves administering therapy diagnostics patient education and ventilator management under the supervision of department leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic care as directed by medical leadership.
Assist with intubations and ventilator management.
Assess patient respiratory function and therapy effectiveness.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding disease management and equipment usage.
Document patient care treatments and education per organizational standards.
Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives.
Perform physical tasks including lifting pushing/pulling and standing for required durations.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid New Jersey license
New Jersey Respiratory Care License Active and in good standing
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications American Heart Association
