Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Registered (Night Shift)
- Location: Atlanta GA 30329
- Duration: 13 week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our pediatric critical care team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric critical care including PICU NICU and ED settings with a preference for Level I trauma experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in critical care and emergency settings.
- Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy aerosolized medications and mechanical ventilation management.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR.
- Respond to trauma and emergency situations following hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
- Required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience; extensive critical care experience in PICU NICU and ED is required
- Licensure: Active Georgia Respiratory Therapy license
- Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS
- Preferred: Experience in a Level I trauma center (Level II considered)
- EMR Knowledge: Epic
