The Section Manager an important technical leadership role at CHA leads an effective and productive team of technical professionals. A Section Managers success is measured by their teams technical quality achieving team utilization targets engaging and motivating their team to go above and beyond and effective management of project budgets. This key role organizes directs and coordinates activities associated with the project scope of work either individually or collectively with their team.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering required; Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 15 years progressive engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred
- Bridge experience required
- OHDOT exposure preferred
- Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to practically apply best practices
- Proficiency with MS Office software required
- Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering
- Advanced proficiency with engineering computational and modeling software (Revit AutoCAD MicroStation etc.)
- Completely familiar with and advocates for the companys standards for quality control and compliance
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas
- An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
- An articulate and persuasive communicator both one-on-one and in front of large groups with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A high energy results-oriented resourceful leader
- Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency
- Ability to inspire motivate build and manage relationships across the company
- Experience with project budgeting preferred
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes
SALARY RANGE:
$149040 - $178200
Salary is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to qualifications experience education licenses specialty training and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
