Job Summary

Job Description:

Collaborate with architects business analysts and application owners to design technical solutions for applications targeted for simplification or off-host migration.

Analyze existing host-based application architectures to define modernization pathways including rehosting refactoring or replacement with off-host platforms.

Design end-to-end technical blueprints for target state architecture using off-host technologies such as Java/.NET microservices APIs cloud-native services and open-source tools.

Define integration patterns data flows and security models for migrated applications in hybrid or cloud environments.

Work with infrastructure DevOps and security teams to align technical designs with organizational standards and deployment strategies.

Ensure designs support non-functional requirements such as performance scalability reliability and maintainability.

Provide technical guidance to development teams during implementation and help resolve design-related issues.

Maintain technical design documents interface specifications and architecture diagrams as part of program documentation.

Contribute to application classification using frameworks such as TIME or 6R to define appropriate modernization approaches.
