Global Liquidity & Funding Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy stress testing daily/monthly reporting (regulatory and management). The Bank has implemented a liquidity engine for enterprise LCR reporting to meet OSFI regulatory requirements.

The Manager Regulatory Financial Review & U.S Liquidity will be responsible for supporting the enterprise liquidity data reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of liquidity data including monthly reconciliation daily & monthly manual workarounds and analysis of the Banks liquidity risk positions against the banks balance sheet and daily reviewing of the reasonability and fluctuation of the liquidity data. They will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

  • Be resonsible for daily/monthly reviewing enterprise liquidity data against banks EGL and other benchmarks; provide manual adjustments to daily/weekly/monthly LCR/NCCF/NSFR reporting.
  • Be responsible for the monthly derivative data reconciliation against EGL including documentation of the reconciliation methodology and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Assist in assessing derivative reconciliation data gap cashflow impact and coordinate with different reporting streams for manual adjustment.
  • Manage mapping tables that are consumed by enterprise reporting.
  • Review the net new counterparty for liquidity reporting.
  • For project releases assist in establishing test cases expected benchmarks and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for enterprise reporting.
  • Asist in preparing business requirement documents and maintaining proper operational procedures.
  • Work closely with GTT to establish resolution protocols with respect to issues arising from the production or project activity.
  • Work closely with GTT to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables perform actual UAT testing activities.
  • Document UAT test case results via closure reports on test cases that have passed or recording defects in JIRA for those cases that have failed UAT.
  • Establish a regression test protocol and perform the same prior to the promotion of the system build into production.
  • Assist in responding to regulator or management queries
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed Wed love to work with you if you have experience with:

  • Undergraduate degree in business finance or economics required. MBA CFA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury capital markets or regulatory reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel Python SQL VBA Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of OTC and exchange-traded derivative products and processes
  • Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
  • Prior experience with liquidity management projects and banks various systems would be an asset.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High performance pragmatic detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex demanding and fast-paced environment.
