Job Description:
To perform check accuracy and report results of moderately complex laboratory procedures on body fluids. To assemble calibrate and perform preventative maintenance and quality control checks on anesthesia laboratory equipment. To assist during procedures and operate and monitor equipment as needed.
Associates degree in a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Students in a related associates degree program must obtain degree within ninety (90) days from date of hire to classification. Must be certified as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within thirteen (13) months of hire date.
