About the role
Reporting to the Head of IT the IT Operations Manager role has been created to ensure IT services are delivered efficiently securely and in alignment with ITIL frameworks and organisational objectives while driving operational improvements and enabling national expansion.
Based in the Brisbane Head Office this hybrid role oversees the day-to-day delivery of IT services leading and growing the capability of the IT support team and managing vendor relationships across six Southeast Queensland schools and beyond. The IT Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of The Industry Schools IT transformation functioning as the primary support role to the Head of IT and key link between the Head of IT and the greater IT Team.
Providing strong hands-on expertise in systems administration infrastructure management and cybersecurity operations you will ensure high availability and resilience of The Industry School IT systems maintaining secure networks and cloud environments and safeguarding data through compliance with recognised security standards.
