Position Overview
Provides support to the Equipment Department and field managers regarding vehicles that are titled and plated in the name of The Davey Tree Expert Co. Davey Resource Group and Wolf Tree.
Hourly position at our corporate headquarters in Kent Ohio.
Job Duties
- License and validate all vehicles trailers chippers and miscellaneous special mobile equipment that require a title and license plate.
- Purchase registration renewals upon license plate expiration via company check or VISA card.
- File in equipment folders copy of MSO and original MSO until vehicle is ready to be titled.
- Enter title and registration information into SAP.
- Allocate all VISA transactions for registration renewals that are paid on the internet.
- Reconcile VISA statement at the end of each month.
- Collect and send to Financial Accounting all sales tax receipts when a new vehicle is titled for the first time.
- Process equipment transfers for all companies (except Davey Surgery Co.).
- Track and follow up on equipment titles and registrations not received from field personnel.
- Purchase duplicate titles when necessary.
- Sort and distribute mail for the Equipment Department.
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails from field and office personnel.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Department Manager beyond the scope of the above job description.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Office procedures training preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office programs specifically MS Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform under moderate levels of stress imposed by deadlines and peak workloads.
