Job Summary
Do you want to make a positive difference to the lives of older people and adults with learning disabilities Joining the Transport Hub as a Relief Passenger Assistant can enable you to do just that.
As a relief passenger assistant youll support our core transport teams based in Lewes and St Leonards. Youll play an essential role in providing safe reliable transport using our fleet of modern wheelchair accessible minibuses. Whether youre stepping in to provide short-notice emergency cover or covering a planned holiday absence youll be instrumental in keeping the wheels rolling and ensuring our passengers can access the care they need.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Live locally to the Lewes and St Leonards areas or are willing to travel to these locations for work
- Are caring supportive and understanding of the needs of older people disabled people and those with learning disabilities
- Are able to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues
- Are able to undertake moving and handling tasks associated with passenger transport
- Are committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining passenger confidentiality
