Location: Portland Maine (Old Port District)
Schedule: Morning shifts weekends required full-time or part-time flexibility

Were looking for a friendly energetic Morning Host & Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team! If you love early mornings great coffee and creating memorable guest experiences this could be the perfect fit for you.
What Youll Do
As a Food Runner:
- Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests in our restaurant and outlets.
- Keep service areas clean organized and stocked throughout your shift.
- Assist servers with clearing tables and restocking supplies.
- Communicate effectively with the host and server teams to ensure smooth service.
- Help set up and clean areas such as the bread station salad dressings and kitchen surfaces.
- Support Room Service as needed especially with morning coffee orders.
As a Host/Hostess:
- Be the warm welcoming face of our restaurantgreet and seat guests with a smile.
- Manage reservations and answer phones with professionalism and care.
- Maintain a tidy and organized host station and ensure menus are clean and ready for service.
- Assist servers with bussing and resetting tables as needed.
- Display daily specials and keep guests informed of offerings.

- Morning availability and flexibility (this role focuses on AM shifts).
- A friendly professional demeanor and passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but were happy to train the right person!
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules policies and procedures.
- Comfortable writing basic reports or messages and speaking confidently with customers or colleagues.
- Must be reliable punctual and able to work flexible morning shifts including weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent talking hearing and use of hands and arms; occasional climbing or balancing.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to adjust focus and have close and distance vision.
Work Environment
- May be exposed to wet or humid conditions heat and kitchen equipment.
- Moderate noise levels typical of a restaurant environment.
- Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
