What You Will Do:

As a TransportationDesign Team Manager youll play a lead role in managing a roadway design team as well as designing and coordinating transformative roadway drainage and utility projects for both public and private clients. You will be at the forefront of designing transportation solutions that enhance the way communities move and grow.

• Mentor and oversee the work of EITs or Technicians helping to develop the next generation of transportation design professionals.
• Be involved with Team growth and development of your staff by providing technical guidance coaching training and involvement with hiring decisions.
• Lead the design and coordination of complex transportation projects working with a dynamic collaborative team to deliver exceptional results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the company to ensure seamless project delivery and unparalleled service for our clients.
• Engage in a variety of exciting tasks including 3D modeling roadway design calculations quantity and cost estimates and preparing detailed project plans.
• Play an active role in proposals project budgets scheduling and presentations contributing to the growth and success of each project.
• As you advance in your career you will have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities managing project schedules budgets and client relationships while coordinating with subconsultants to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

What You Will Bring:

• A bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or similar degree) from an accredited institution with 4-15 years of experience in transportation design ideally with TxDOT and/or Municipal clients.
• Proficiency in preparing reading and understanding construction plans and technical documents with a strong working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer.
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• A Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic that will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
