About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Bunbury - SWHC team on a either a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Casual basis.
Working for Apex Radiology - Bunbury, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. You'll be a part of a supportive and dynamic nursing team, reporting directly to the Nurse-in-Charge.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations (including IV cannulation).
- Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography.
- Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
- Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
- Contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.
What You'll Bring
- Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential).
- Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
