Job Summary
Essential Functions
Instruct students in assigned subjects (e.g. Microsoft Applications I & II) using varied methods. Effectively apply engaged learning to teach a class using integrated technology. Evaluate student work and maintain attendance achievement and progress records. Develop and revise course curriculum materials and evaluation methods. Collaborate as a Business Program Team member supporting college services. Stay current in subject areas through ongoing professional development. This is an on-site position. Instructor will work a regular class schedule with pre-determined days hours and location(s). Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in Business Administration Business Education Information Technology Instructional Technology or Adult Education. Two (2) years experience in the Business World or teaching Computer Applications in the educational setting. Microsoft Office Specialist ( MOS ) certification required within one year of employment.
