We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to join our be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors and managing access control from the guard shack. Profound interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the apartment complex to ensure the security of buildings parking areas and common areas.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Maintain a visible presence at the guard shack and greet residents visitors and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Control access to the premises by verifying identification issuing visitor passes and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the property.
- Respond promptly to inquiries complaints and requests for assistance from residents addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Enforce property rules and regulations including parking policies noise ordinances and other community guidelines.
- Assist with emergency situations such as medical incidents fire alarms or other crises by alerting appropriate authorities and providing support as needed.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports documenting any security incidents disturbances or unusual occurrences during shifts.
- Collaborate with property management and other staff members to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance security procedures and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Proven experience in a security-related role preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to meeting the needs and expectations of residents and visitors.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and to make quick and sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security equipment such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (if required for patrol duties).
