The Material Planner and Buyer is responsible for assisting in conducting basic inventory analysis aiding in ordering materials resolving basic availability issues helping in compiling stock levels tracking supplier/item profiles and recording consignment stock to ensure efficient supply chain operations and effective decision-making. The roles monitoring of MRP tools is crucial for optimizing stock levels and managing master data settings during production ramp-up. The role tracks material characteristics and trends rectifies seasonal patterns and communicates forecasts promptly to suppliers for efficient inventory management. The role entails ordering materials monitoring deliveries and updating ERP software.
Your role:
Address basic material shortage risks by initiating mitigation actions processing return orders to suppliers and ensuring uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Support root cause analysis and resolution of recurring availability issues to maintain consistent material flow and operational efficiency.
Assist in planning and executing the technical aspects of purchasing including understanding material requirements managing safety stock and expediting orders to uphold service levels.
Monitor Material Resource Planning (MRP) tools to analyze material characteristics and trends optimize inventory levels and manage master data during production ramp-up phases.
Review and manage routine and exception materials including new items those with negative consumption flagged for deletion or end-of-life and analyze seasonal or trend-based patterns.
Communicate demand forecasts to suppliers in a timely manner and ensure accurate documentation to support inventory planning.
Facilitate material ordering processes track delivery timelines quality and pricing monitor open order positions expedite when necessary and maintain up-to-date records in ERP systems.
Compile and analyze supplier and item profiles to support efficient replenishment strategies and informed decision-making.
Oversee consignment stock at supplier locations conduct regular stock audits and manage vendor-supplied materials for repair or rework.
Youre the right fit if you have:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering or related field with 4-6 years of relevant work expereince
Experience with ERP systems and MRP tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Purchase Order Management & Vendor Follow-up
Inventory Planning & Safety Stock Management
Clear-to-Build (CTB) Execution
Change Management PIPO Planning
Supplier Relationship Management
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience with Electro-Mechanical & Mechanical Components
Working knowledge of O9 Planning Tool (preferred)

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an onsite role.
