JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assistance in the quality control of genomic data
- Construction of databases of genomic experiments
- Web interface design with results databases
- Support in the implementation of graphical interfaces with bioinformatics tools (R shiny python DASH)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- Vocational training degree with a higher degree training cycle in bioinformatics-web developer
- Knowledge of programming tools (bash python php html C javascript perl R).
- Experience with databases and web application design will be valued
WHAT WE OFFER
- Type of contract and working hours.: 3-year contract (subject to obtaining funding through a competitive application).
- Date of incorporation: After funding is awarded to the candidate (if awarded). Estimated: last quarter 2026.
- Gross remuneration: Annual brute salary starting at 20.400 distributed in 12 payments (provided funding is obtained amounting to 15.700 / year).
- Flexible payment.
- 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters 2 days for Easter 2 days for Christmas.

About us
The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus working in close collaboration with the other centres.
