Head of Quality Assurance Unit

As Mano bankas rapidly expands we are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance Unit to join our team.

What You Will Do:

Quality Assurance Program Development and Implementation:

• Design regularly update and coordinate the quality assurance program in line with the banks strategy and risk profile.
• Introduce new elements to the program based on emerging risks and strategic goals.
• Ensure transparency and effectiveness of the quality assurance framework.
• Prepare performance and effectiveness reports internal procedures and related documentation.
  
Execution of Quality Control Processes:

• Organize and conduct analysis of process non-conformities and errors support root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures.
• Recommend improvements to risk control mechanisms and overall quality and efficiency.
• Carry out both qualitative and quantitative quality assurance checks.
• Provide relevant information during audits and inspections in a timely manner.
  
Collaboration and Training:

• Consult and support process owners on quality assurance matters.
• Maintain smooth communication between the first line of defense and the Quality Assurance team.
• Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on quality standards and share insights on frequently observed issues.
  
Team Management (if applicable):

• Oversee the quality and continuity of work performed by direct reports.
• Set goals aligned with the banks strategy and monitor their achievement.
• Draft and update job descriptions for team members as needed.
  

What We Expect:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience (experience in the financial sector is an advantage)
• University degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics finance quality management)
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn adapt and grow within a dynamic environment
• Strong focus on achieving goals and delivering results
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Team management experience (considered an advantage)
• Ability to work independently make well-grounded decisions and document them properly
• Rational thinking accuracy and a structured approach to tasks
• Critical and analytical mindset with well-developed intuition and insight
• Ability to analyze information identify patterns and risks and propose solutions
