Job Summary

This role focuses on delivering high-calibre practical and theoretical science.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-calibre Biology lessons across Key Stages 3-5 ensuring challenging practical and theoretical components up to A-Level.
- Promote rigorous scientific inquiry and develop strong laboratory skills in a safe well-resourced setting.
- Provide targeted academic guidance for students pursuing competitive university applications in medical or science fields.
- Contribute to academic enrichment running science societies or student research groups.
- Assume pastoral duties actively supporting the welfare system within the secondary school.
Requirements
- A strong degree in Biology and successful teaching experience up to A-Level (QTS/PGCE valued).
- Proven ability to achieve strong academic outcomes with intellectually engaged students.
