Job Summary
Are you a passionate and driven Art ECT looking to inspire the next generation of young artists
A highly regarded secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an ambitious Art ECT to join its thriving Creative Arts Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent post with excellent support and professional development built around early career success.
The Role
You will teach Art & Design across Key Stages 35 helping students explore diverse artistic media while developing technical skill and creative confidence. Lessons will incorporate both practical and theoretical elements and ECTs are encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the department. Youll receive weekly mentoring CPD workshops and feedback sessions designed to strengthen your classroom practice.
The role also offers the chance to participate in art exhibitions cross-curricular projects and national competitions allowing you to share your enthusiasm for art both within and beyond the school community.

What Were Looking For
Qualified or newly qualified Art Teacher (QTS/PGCE or pending)
Strong understanding of both fine art and contemporary practices
