Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Manchester. This is a full-time permanent position starting in January 2026 ideal for a passionate educator who strives to inspire and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 2 students.
Assess record and report on pupil progress setting clear learning goals.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
Maintain effective communication with parents and carers about pupil progress and wellbeing.
Support pupils social emotional and academic development.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 ideally in Year 2.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment processes.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Passionate about inspiring young learners and promoting a love of learning.
Team-oriented proactive and committed to ongoing professional development.
