Summary: Sierra Nevada DHMF is looking for a Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges!**Must maintain qualifications throughout the entire assignment which includes MQSA Standards for 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months.**
Rates for Submission:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation $300 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Hourly $600 - Per hour not OT
Holiday $900 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Start: January start to work one week every other month. for up to 6-9 months The week will be determined by what the other physician is not working.
Schedule & Shift time: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Facility Location: Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital 155 Glasson Way Grass Valley CA 95945 in Building 4 (outpatient building)
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Duties: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
Required Procedures:Read Mammo PET and perform breast biopsies

The average monthly volumes are below. Keep in mind that we have a radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week.

For the IR doc It would include
Procedures (basic procedures such as thoracentesis paracentesis biopsies drains intro abdominal drains suprapubic catheters nephrostomy tubes etc)
CT s
X-rays
Ultrasounds
MRI s
They would be asked to read during the day from the list of radiology studies from the emergency department and inpatient. But if there is anything they don t feel comfortable reading they do have the option to send to MRG which is our Teleradiology group.
For the Radiologist in building 4
We mainly need them for mammography and breast biopsies. If they are able to read PET that would be great appreciated in addition to any other studies (CT MRI X-ray US etc)
