This gives patients and staff more time with their families during the holiday %%% REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Minimum Experience Required; We are a busy 3 linac site with all Varian linacs (True Beam Halcyon and 21iX. We have Siemens CT simulator). Traveler Experience: Clinic WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes **Skills: Adult Outpatient CBCT/kV/mV imaging Benign Brain Tumors Craniospinal Gynecomastia Heterotopic Bone IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy Keloids Prophylactic Treatments Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials Stereotactic Radiosurgery Superior Vena Cava ARIA TrueBeam Chart check Isolation Precautions Radiation Safety Certs: ARRT T BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills: Varian 21 ex/is Varian Trilogy & Vision RT JOB DETAILS: Avg Daily Census: 110 pts/day 3 linacs and one CT sim Will Accept 13 Weeks! 40 Hours Can be Offered Shift: 0800-1700 (5x8 s) ***Sometimes we flex start times due to volume changes.*** Call Requirement: NONE Float Requirement: YES. Floating will be required. See UNIT DETAILS! Weekend Requirement: NONE SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This contract is for local float coverage of two different clinical sites in the Wilmington NC Coastal Region. The primary site has 3 Varian linacs ad one CT sister site is about a 30 minute drive away and has one Varian True Beam as well as a Siemens CT simulator. Pending volumes and coverage needs the traveler would float between these offices. The traveler will NOT be expected to cut blocks perform CT sims alone or perform dose calcs. There are always an MD and an RN onsite throughout the day. We may ask some days if the traveler could come in 9am to 6pm and some days 8 am to 5 pm. Additionally there will be opportunities for the traveler to opt for 4 - 10 hour shifts if desired (but not required). Therapists do not work alone so the traveler would always be paired with at least one other one True Beam and one Siemens CT sim. Theres five therapists that treat 20-30 patients per day M- F.
