Emergency Department- RN (Contract Role)

Location: Concord MA 03301

Duration: 18-week Contract

Shift: 1:00 PM 1:00 AM or 3:00 PM 3:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay: $2088 - $2232; Based on experience (Negotiable)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract role in a fast-paced hospital setting in Concord MA. This position requires a confident skilled and compassionate RN with prior emergency room experience and a strong ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
Administer medications treatments and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols.
Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary team members and support staff to provide timely and accurate care.
Monitor and assess changes in patient condition reporting critical information promptly.
Document all care provided accurately in the EMR system (Cerner preferred but not required).
Adhere to infection control safety standards and hospital policies.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during emergency situations.

Requirements:

Licensure: Active NH or Compact State RN license (Required)
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience Required
- Documented travel nursing experience.
EMR Experience:
- Cerner experience preferred but not mandatory.
