The company was founded with a vision to help customers take the healthier route by eating right staying active and building healthy habits. It has grown exponentially with strong unit economics and is now looking to expand its team across multiple roles.
About the role:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our cross-functional engineering teams and drive the delivery of high-quality scalable and secure this role you will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills to guide architecture improve processes and empower engineers to do their best will oversee the end-to-end software lifecycle across mobile web backend and infrastructure platforms ensuring our systems are reliable efficient and future-ready. As a key partner to product and business stakeholders you will balance technical direction with execution excellence to deliver impact at scale.
Specifically this role will involve:
- Architecture & Delivery Ownership: Lead design and delivery across mobile web backend and infrastructure platforms.
- Mobile: Hands-on with Flutter React Native and native Android/iOS integrations.
- Web: Expertise in Angular (latest versions component-based architecture).
- Backend: Strong experience with Java Python Postgres Redis and microservices.
- DevOps/Infrastructure: Skilled in AWS GCP Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines monitoring and cost optimization.
- System Design: Proven ability in distributed systems scalable microservices reliability and security.
- Team Leadership: Lead sprint planning project prioritization and ensure on-time delivery.
- Agile & Process Improvement: Strengthen agile practices improve engineering velocity and enhance cross-functional collaboration with product and business teams.
- DevOps & Automation: Introduced automation observability and best practices for faster and more reliable releases.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance high availability system uptime and disaster recovery readiness
- Innovation & Growth: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and bring relevant innovations into the stack.
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 engineers ensuring technical excellence and growth.
- Architect and review scalable secure and reliable systems.
- Drive design discussions and code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Own delivery of product and platform initiatives with clear SLAs and quality benchmarks.
- Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines observability and monitoring practices.
- Ensure systems meet compliance security and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Product & Design to align technical decisions with business goals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies; use the right tools/frameworks when needed.
- Drive automation performance tuning and cost optimization in infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes).
- Troubleshoot production issues define on-call practices and improve system reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Management or related field is a plus.
