Job Description
Our client is looking for a Vehicle Tracking Installation Technician to join their team.
Salary:
USD 500 - 700
Responsibilities:
- Install vehicle tracking units fleet management devices and related accessories in various vehicle types (cars trucks motorcycles etc.).
- Conduct system diagnostics testing and verification to ensure correct device functionality and communication.
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and replacements of faulty tracking devices.
- Calibrate and configure tracking systems to integrate with vehicle electrical systems and software platforms.
- Ensure proper routing and concealment of wiring and components for safety and aesthetic purposes.
- Document installation details serial numbers and vehicle information accurately for system records.
- Provide client support by explaining device operation troubleshooting minor issues and addressing customer inquiries.
- Follow company safety and quality assurance procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools equipment and vehicle in good working condition.
- Assist with technical audits software updates and system upgrades when required.
- Report any recurring installation or product issues to the Technical Supervisor.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience (2 years) in vehicle tracking auto-electrical installation or fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of GPS/GSM systems vehicle wiring and electronic diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Auto-Electrics Electronics Telecommunications or related field.
- Valid driver s license
