Summary:
-
This entry-level role provides hands-on training in aircraft manufacturing and service processes.

Working in a team environment under direct supervision the individual will perform various structural assembly operations while developing technical skills.
-
Perform basic fitting of detail parts drilling and riveting using hand and pneumatic tools (drills rivet guns countersinks reamers files etc.)
-
Ensure parts and assemblies meet instructions from assigned manufacturing personnel or Quality Control Inspector
-
Learn to read work orders blueprints and specification sheets to determine operation sequences
-
Align and assemble parts using fixtures pins clamps and fasteners
-
Observe and assist experienced staff gradually working with decreasing supervision as skills develop

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; enrollment in a Technical Aviation program preferred

Ability to read scales and perform basic shop math
-
Strong reading comprehension and document-following skills
-
Hands-on aptitude attention to detail professionalism teamwork and ability to meet schedules
-
Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety practices
-
Proficiency with basic computer software
-
Availability to work any shift
-
Ability to lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
