Location: Orange CA (On-site Full-Time)
Job Type: Temporary Contract (Z TEMP)
Pay Range: $23.92 $33.48 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Overview:
A mission-driven community-based healthcare organization is seeking Bilingual Sr. Customer Service Representatives to join its OneCare Customer Service Department. These representatives will play a vital role in supporting member and provider inquiries focusing on service excellence collaboration and respectful communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member and provider inquiries (eligibility enrollment claims referrals authorizations etc.)
- Serve as a senior resource for junior staff and support complex case resolutions
- Accurately document all member interactions and follow through on all cases
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies as needed
- Meet departmental quality and productivity standards
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team goals
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer/member service experience (minimum 1 year in a call center)
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Bilingual proficiency in English and one of the following languages:
Arabic Chinese Farsi Korean Russian Spanish or Vietnamese
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in HMO Medi-Cal/Medicaid or healthcare customer service environments
Core Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Work Environment:
- On-site office-based role (no remote work)
- Indoor environment with standard office noise levels
- May require occasional travel
- Physical ability to sit type lift up to 25 lbs and communicate clearly
