Location: Orange CA (On-site Full-Time)
Job Type: Temporary Contract (Z TEMP)
Pay Range: $23.92 $33.48 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Overview:

A mission-driven community-based healthcare organization is seeking Bilingual Sr. Customer Service Representatives to join its OneCare Customer Service Department. These representatives will play a vital role in supporting member and provider inquiries focusing on service excellence collaboration and respectful communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member and provider inquiries (eligibility enrollment claims referrals authorizations etc.)
  • Serve as a senior resource for junior staff and support complex case resolutions
  • Accurately document all member interactions and follow through on all cases
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies as needed
  • Meet departmental quality and productivity standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of customer/member service experience (minimum 1 year in a call center)
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and one of the following languages:
    Arabic Chinese Farsi Korean Russian Spanish or Vietnamese

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HMO Medi-Cal/Medicaid or healthcare customer service environments

Core Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)

Work Environment:

  • On-site office-based role (no remote work)
  • Indoor environment with standard office noise levels
  • May require occasional travel
  • Physical ability to sit type lift up to 25 lbs and communicate clearly
