Job Description: Chief Technical Architect (CTA) Role Summary

The Chief Technical Architect (CTA) is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture vision across business units and technology domains. This includes aligning architecture with business goals enabling platform-led innovation and rationalizing legacy systems-especially critical in transformation programs like mergers and acquisitions.

Job Location: Seattle and if not we are ok for remote with travel options Engagement type: Contract Key Responsibilities Strategic Vision & Alignment

- Define future-state architecture aligned with business growth speed and customer experience.
- Rationalize legacy systems post-acquisition and enable platform-led innovation. (INTEGRATION/ MIGRATION)
- Partner with CTO and senior leadership to ensure architectural governance and stakeholder alignment.

Execution & Governance

- Establish architecture councils and federated teams for governance.
- Drive simplification and modernization across workstreams.
- Sequence initiatives for quick wins and long-term capabilities.

Measurement & Success Metrics

- Define KPIs such as:
Time-to-market for new services
Reduction in technical debt
API adoption rates
Platform scalability
Stakeholder satisfaction
