About the Opportunity
Lead the systems that power business performance.
Your Purpose:
As the Technical Lead: Technical Production Support Services you will be responsible for driving the operational implementation of the groups technology strategy. This includes ensuring the management availability and optimal performance of all core business IT systems. You will play a key role in aligning infrastructure strategy with business objectives delivering resilient IT services and ensuring operational best practices while leading a high-performing technical team.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role you will lead the design and maintenance of IT infrastructure strategies and architectures across cloud-native platforms hybrid systems and microservices. You will modernize legacy environments implement scalable technologies and ensure system resilience through phased upgrades and continuous optimization. You will oversee system performance by monitoring dashboards and key metrics such as uptime incident resolution and first-call resolution rates to ensure service excellence.
A core responsibility will be ensuring legal regulatory and cybersecurity compliance through endpoint protection vulnerability management and secure cloud migration. You will lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning while managing infrastructure upgrades such as SQL and SharePoint migrations.
You will be accountable for project execution managing system changes testing and governance frameworks to minimize risk. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including DevOps cybersecurity and product owners will be essential to aligning technical delivery with business outcomes. As a leader you will mentor your team drive a culture of continuous improvement and explore innovative technologies such as AI serverless computing and event streaming to keep the business at the forefront of digital innovation.
Whats Required:
To succeed in this role you will bring at least 10 years of IT industry experience with 5 years at the management level. A tertiary qualification in Information Systems Technology is required alongside a strong technical foundation in enterprise computing cloud infrastructure and agile development lifecycles. You will need proven expertise in project and change management cybersecurity and infrastructure oversight.
In addition to technical expertise you must demonstrate strong leadership stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Excellent communication presentation and executive writing skills are essential along with financial acumen to balance technical decisions with business impact. A quality-driven approach coupled with innovation and the ability to take calculated risks will set you apart.
Where you will be working:
You will be based onsite working across the groups operations with a strong focus on system availability and service delivery. This role requires active collaboration with internal teams business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure technical strategies support the organizations objectives.
