Your Purpose:
As the Senior Manager: ICT Voice and Data Services you will be responsible for ensuring the management availability and optimal performance of all voice and data systems within the business. This pivotal role demands strong leadership a strategic mindset and a passion for driving operational excellence. You will play a critical part in ensuring that business continuity compliance and innovation remain at the forefront of ICT service delivery across multiple sites.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role you will oversee network infrastructure to ensure the high availability of voice and data networks across multi-site operations. You will manage VPN access and connectivity for distributed teams while optimizing telephony systems such as Avaya NICE and Verint for call routing recording and compliance.
You will lead the deployment of cloud-native contact centre platforms to enable seamless omnichannel customer engagement integrating IVR and CTI systems with multilingual support. Workforce and performance management will also fall under your leadership with responsibility for SLA adherence scheduling and analytics reporting.
A key part of your role will be ensuring security and compliance in line with recording and retention standards such as POPIA implementing robust authentication and secure access protocols. You will drive operational efficiency by automating processes streamlining agent workflows and enabling real-time access to indexed digital records.
Vendor and stakeholder management will also be crucial encompassing contract negotiations infrastructure upgrades and aligning technical services with business needs. Finally you will lead structured incident management root cause analysis and foster collaboration across internal teams to ensure resilient and responsive ICT services.
Whats Required:
To excel in this role you will bring at least 10 years of IT industry experience including a minimum of 5 years in a management position. You will hold a tertiary qualification in Information Systems Technology and possess strong knowledge of agile development lifecycles relevant legislation and enterprise computing infrastructure.
The role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills coupled with proven ability in negotiation stakeholder management and project management. You must be adept at developing operational plans driving compliance managing financial considerations and optimizing ICT systems to support business goals. Advanced technical and analytical skills coupled with business acumen and a quality-driven approach are essential for success.
