Salary R720k per month CTC

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join a leading food business driving innovation and renovation across categories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong food science/technology background and proven track record in QSR FMCG or retail food product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead product development projects from concept to launch ensuring compliance with nutritional allergen and legislative requirements
Conduct product builds yield and shelf-life validations portioning and cost optimisation
Develop and maintain product documentation (CSLs BOMs procedures)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Operations Supply Chain and Suppliers
Oversee product trials tastings consumer research and supplier line sign-offs
Drive product renovation and packaging improvements with a focus on efficiency and cost savings
What Were Looking For:
Degree in Food Science Food Technology or related field
8 years experience in food product development (QSR/FMCG/Retail)
Strong hands-on technical skills in product building and testing
A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving ability
Strong communicator team player and able to work under pressure
Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with suppliers
