You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a Singapore-based IT Associate who will collaborate with staff to ensure the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure. As the first point of contact for IT support your mission is to enable our staff by providing exceptional technical assistance empowering our teams to work efficiently and innovate at their peak potential.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests managing the entire lifecycle of incidents and service requests from logging in JIRA to resolution.
Manage employee lifecycle IT processes including the onboarding of new hires and offboarding of departing employees.
Provide hands-on support for both Apple and Microsoft hardware and software issues assisting with new installations and training employees on their use.
Conduct monthly onsite visits to the remote Singapore branch office to provide proactive IT support and ensure operational readiness
Deliver comprehensive IT audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) setup and support for company meetings and events sometimes after office hours.
Perform basic administration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including Fortinet/Trend Micro firewalls Cisco/HP switches (VLANs) and Aruba/Ruckus wireless devices.
Maintain and audit physical security systems (e.g. Biometric/Face Recognition access CCTVs) and endpoint security solutions (e.g. EDR Antivirus).
Monitor the performance of managed servers and systems escalating critical issues to senior team members as needed.
Maintain meticulous documentation for all IT processes and systems to ensure high-quality consistent support.
Manage the companys IT asset lifecycle maintaining accurate records and implementing best practices for inventory and vendor management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in automating manual CorpIT workflows using n8n
Contribute to technical projects including the rollout of new applications and solutions by designing and executing project plans to improve systems and operations.
Regularly assess our IT infrastructure to ensure it meets evolving business demands and assist in the development of related IT policies and procedures
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
NiTEC Diploma in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent
Proven hands-on experience with computer networks including administration and installation
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to work on a contract basis (24 months)
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of IT and communications technology fundamentals.
Familiar with Physical Security (i.e. Face Recognition Access Controller or Biometric Door Access CCTV cams & NVR) and Endpoint Security (i.e. EDR Anti-virus).
Proven knowledge of AV/VC (Audio Video/Video Conferencing) technologies (i.e. Chromebox Nearity Anker Jabra Display TVs Projector Projector Screens Digital Signage) and meeting room town hall event setups.
Good working knowledge of project management P.O.C. project trackers project timelines and resource allocation.
Experience with IT purchasing vendor relations inventory management and budgeting
Strong ability to multitask prioritize effectively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and resourceful problem-solver with excellent soft skills for collaborating with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming languages or RPA (i.e. automation of CorpIT tasks) or n8n workflow automation
