Product Engineer Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

This internship is for Summer 2026.

The Product Engineer Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for learning and subsequently implementing the Cornerstone Production System methodology on multiple production lines and throughout different systems and processes. Reporting directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager this role will be on-site in Spokane Valley WA and will work closely with the operations team.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Standardize and update CAD models and drawings for 4 different window brands across the Western United States.
• Create 3D models 2D parametric models and product/manufacturing drawings to ASME standards

• Identify and analyze opportunities for standardization and process improvements
• Work closely with the engineering team
• Learn about fenestration product design certification and application
• Present capstone project as directed at the conclusion of the internship program
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Minimum travel may be required

Qualifications :

WHAT YOULL NEED

• Pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Engineering
• Experience working with AutoCAD Inventor and/or Solid Works required
