The EGM team within the Flight Physics department oversees the development maintenance and evolution of operational software for airlines on-ground and in-flight performance computations as well as aircraft handling qualities propulsion and performance models forsimulator training and AFM (Airplane Flight Manual) production.
The internship will take place within the scope of continuous improvement of our in-house developed software for aircraft performance calculations (TRAJ) and for the use of flight dispatch teams (FOS Flight Operations Software).
The objective is to assess the integration of both software tools for the calculation and optimization of flight missions.
Detailed description of the activities:
- Proof of concept: Development of a python script that enables the calculation of different flight missions and the interpretation of the results.
- Integration of calculation and optimization of flight missions in TRAJ.
- Discussion with Flight operations specialists to gather their needs and constraints.
- Assessment of FOS-TRAJ interfacing for the calculation of flight missions.
This internship is designed for you
- Experience:
- Last year engineering student in aeronautic domain.
- Background and interest in Flight dynamics.
- First experience with object code development.
- Programming languages Python and C/ C# would be a plus
- Be interested in flight operations
- Soft skills:

Ce que nous allons faire ensemble:
Être stagiaire chez ATR cest être intégré au sein dune équipe comme un membre à part entière avec un véritable périmètre dintervention et des responsabilités.
Vous intégrez le département Flight Physics et plus précisément léquipe en charge du développement de la maintenance et lévolution des outils de performance opérationnelle pour les compagnies aériennes. Le service a aussi la responsabilité des modèles de propulsion de qualité de vol pour le bureau détude et les simulateurs de training ainsi que les performances avion pour la production de lAFM (Airplane Flight Manual).
Le stage se déroule dans le scope de lamélioration continue de nous outils développés en interne pour le calcul de performance avion (TRAJ) et pour lutilisation des équipes des opérations de vol (FOS Flight Operations Software).
Lidée est dévaluer lintégration de ces outils pour le calcul et optimisation dune mission.
Descriptif des activités proposées
- Preuve de concept: Développement dun script python pour le lancement des calculs de performance avion de plusieurs missions et linterprétation de résultats.
- Intégration des calculs doptimisation de mission dans TRAJ.
- Discussion avec léquipe des opérations de vol afin de recueillir les besoins et contraintes.
- Evaluation de linterfaçage entre TRAJ et FOS pour les calculs des missions.
Ce stage est fait pour vous:
- Expérience:
- Dernière année cycle ingénieur ou équivalent dans le secteur aéronautique
- Connaissance en mécanique du vol
- Première expérience en programmation objet.
- Programmation en python et C/C# serait un plus
- Intérêt pour les opérations de vol
- Humain:
- Être ouvert desprit
- Avoir une envie dapprendre
- Vouloir faire partie dune équipe pluridisciplinaire.
- Langues:
- Anglais - obligatoire
- Français - recommandé
