Job Summary
Tradewin is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead our TradeDesk operations focused on dedicated key account operations as well as one of the HTS Classification verticals. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of 1520 operational employees focused on:
- HTS Classification
- Shipment Management
- Document Generation
- Partner Government Agency (PGA) Requirements
The Managing Consultant will report directly to the Senior Manager of TradeDesk and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence regulatory compliance and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the TradeDesk team.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HTS classification and shipment document creation.
- Oversee compliance with PGA requirements and other regulatory obligations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Manage customer escalations and relationships to enhance customer partnerships.
- Provide mentorship coaching and performance management for team members.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HTS Classification trade compliance customs operations or international logistics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of PGA regulatory frameworks and documentation standards.
- Experience managing operational teams in a consulting or logistics environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customs Brokerage License
- Familiarity with Expeditors systems and processes.
