Job Description

The purpose of this position is to address legal matters within specific departments and subject matter areas while maintaining close
communication with colleagues to ensure an integrated consistent approach to legal services.

In this role you will: 

  1. Lead and manage all aspects of litigation and pre-litigation matters across civil commercial employment regulatory and class action cases.
  2. Develop and execute litigation strategy in alignment with business priorities and risk tolerance.
  3. Select supervise and manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality and cost-effective legal representation.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess legal risk develop positions collect evidence and prepare witnesses.
  5. Represent the company in settlement negotiations mediations and arbitrations.
  6. Oversee responses to subpoenas government inquiries and regulatory investigations.
  7. Maintain case tracking systems litigation budgets and legal holds.
  8. Advise business units on dispute resolution strategies and help minimize exposure through proactive legal counseling.
  9. Support internal investigations and compliance reviews as needed.
  10. Contribute to company policies and procedures related to litigation risk management dispute resolution and document retention.

Qualifications :

  • JD Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years experience
  • Advanced knowledge of general business and contract law
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Proven experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
  • Strong negotiation writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling regulatory matters or government investigations a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced business-oriented environment.
  • High integrity sound judgment and strong communication skills.
