Position Overview:

Boeing Fabrication (FAB) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join the FAB Quality organization leading the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) in Ladson South Carolina.

In this leadership role you will set the vision for quality drive improvements and ensure alignment with regulatory customer and Boeing quality standards across the Interiors responsibility Center (IRC). Youll coach and inspire frontline managers and technical teams lead cross-functional problem solving for complex quality issues and champion data-driven initiatives that improve reliability efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership deep technical knowledge of aerospace processes and a passion for operational excellence as they play a pivotal role in safeguarding Boeings reputation for world-class aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers that ensure products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.

  • Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives customers stakeholders peers and business partners

  • 5 years experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion

  • 5 years experience with Quality or Operations or leading managers/teams in Operations and/or Quality position

  • 5 years experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint

  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years experience with Quality Management Systems and/or the One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

  • 3 years of experience with team building developing and motivating employees.

  • 1 years of experience using structured problem-solving methods (BPSM DMAIC 6-Sigma)
