Account Management for Maritime Systems
* Chinese language skill is a must for communication with local customers or suppliers.
Manage Technical Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients reporting technical issues with our maritime vessel tracking systems from initial diagnosis to final resolution. This includes managing short-term troubleshooting tasks.
Oversee Project Delivery: Take ownership of new system implementations and project deliveries ensuring successful deployment and client satisfaction.
Coordinate with Subcontractors: Effectively communicate problem details and project requirements to external subcontractors ensuring they have the information needed to diagnose resolve issues and complete deliverables.
Project Manage Solutions: Oversee the entire lifecycle of technical issues and projects from start to finish tracking progress managing timelines and ensuring all parties are aligned.
Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication clear updates and a highly responsive approach to their needs.
Information Flow & Reporting: Consolidate feedback and progress reports from subcontractors and clients distilling key information to regularly update the managing director.
Develop System & Industry Knowledge: Through on-the-job training gain a deep understanding of our maritime operations and software functions to better comprehend technical issues and facilitate communication.
Job Objectives -

- Technical Support to Project and Tender
- Subcontractor Management
- VTS Database Software Maintenance
Responsibility -
- Manage projects including task assignment documentation and quality assurance
- Perform remote and on-site preventive and corrective maintenance
- Provide on-call support for urgent issues
- Validate work performed by Kaohsiung maintenance on monthly basis
- Maintain improve and develop the VTS database system
- Customer Relationship maintenance including existing and potential clients
- Protect all intellectual property related any result of this job
- Tendering for contracts
Professional Skills -
- Project Management: PMP certification preferred; experience in planning execution and monitoring of technical projects
- Programming Languages: Delphi (preferred) C Java
- Network Management: Knowledge of switches firewalls routers etc.
- Hypervisor Management: VMWare or similar virtualization platforms
- Database Management: MS-SQL Sybase
- Operating Systems: Administration of Windows Server and Linux (CentOS)
- Cyber Security: Familiar with ISMS processes
