Job Summary

SUMMARY: To operate the applesauce processing equipment to provide quality product that meets customer specifications to the packaging lines. Only a qualified AS Tech. can relieve this position.

Operate and CIP the System
Communicate with Team Members
Prepare the Applesauce Processing Area for Production
Complete Paperwork Accurately and Turn In on Time
Maintain Safe and Proper Operation of Equipment
Clean and Sanitize the External and Internal Area
Maintain a Clean Safe Work Area
Operate a Forklift as Required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Zero to six months position related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic ability to communicate in English.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers
Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients other employees of Tree Top.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of measure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls: reach with hands and arms; climb or balance: and talk or hear: taste or smell:
The employee will also: Sit stand walk stoop kneel crouch and crawl.
Employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for testing distance vision for observing line flow color vision for testing and seeing juice/ sauce color peripheral vision to observe two processes depth perception for working with machinery and the ability to adjust focus for seeing defective material.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is/or could be exposed to:
- Extreme heat moving mechanical parts wet and/or humid conditions electrical shock high precarious positions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals all weather conditions vibrations and loud noise.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $19.87 - 25.17/HR

This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this positions grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors such as experience and if applicable location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
