Archives Library New Zealand sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch the Departments epicenter of information management culture and heritage. Our branch is all about collecting storing and preserving important things that are precious to New Zealand.

We are looking for a full time permanent Leadership Support Coordinator to join our centralised coordination and business support team.

Our Coordinators play a key role in providing expert coordination support services for leaders across Archives Library New Zealand. You will manage complex scheduling and inboxes coordinate business activities provide secretariat support and ensure requests and approvals are tracked and delivered on time.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • experience managing and coordinating diaries ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings prioritising commitments appropriately and resolving potential conflicts.
  • experience drafting agendas recording minutes and actions liaising with attendees.
  • experience scheduling workshops meetings online forums and overseeing the logistical requirements.
  • support the preparation of documents briefings and reports.
  • excellent interpersonal skills.
  • confident with Microsoft Office 365 and able to pick up new systems quickly.
  • assist with procurement invoicing and financial processing.
  • A team player who contributes positively to shared outcomes.

Other requirements:

  • Business Administration Diploma (or similar)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
