About the Team & Business Line:

The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team is part of the Citco Group of companies (Citco) and is responsible for the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of Citco Banking and Fund Administration clients in accordance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. The main objective of the CLM team is to protect Citco and the Financial Industry for being used for money laundering and terrorist financing purposes.



Responsibilities

What we offer

We offer you an exciting role as CLM (KYC) Assistant Vice President within the CLM team. As CLM (KYC) Assistant Vice President you will be a first point of contact for our clients regarding KYC/AML requirements and queries. Furthermore you will be responsible for document outreach with our clients pursuant to the results of our due diligence reviews. You will be supporting the Vice President with the day-to-day operational management of one or more of the larger CLM work streams and reporting to management on that work stream. You will have up to approx. 15 direct reports for which you are addition you are responsible for reviewing high risk customer due diligence (including a risk assessment) at onboarding performed by ( the team and ongoing due diligence and maintenance during the customers life cycle in accordance with Citcos policies and procedures. For the Client Lifecycle Management processes Citco is using the industry best practice CLM software Fen-X from Fenergo Limited. Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • As part of your main duties and responsibilities you will (not exhaustive):
  • Operational management of 10-15 staff members;
  • Provide regular and accurate management reports;
  • Support CLM Management in achieving their operational and strategic goals;
  • Proactively review CLM procedures and suggest improvements
  • Work with your peer group to Manage Quality Standards across the Region
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders (e.g. Supervisors Relationship Managers etc.) and timely respond to (follow up on) emails or telephone requests;
  • Timely follow up on pending items to meet internal service level agreement (SLA) deadlines;
  • Timely report and escalate non-conformities to your Manager;
  • Assisting the VP with allocating the team resources effectively and efficiently within their area
  • of responsibility;
  • Making use of available tools in order to guide and develop the team;
  • Supervision of the team and the work performed by the team;
  • Maintenance of a professional and motivating working environment;
  • Participate in specific projects which may rise from time to time;
  • Participate in Citcos training program;
  • Have a good understanding of (and adhere to) Citcos policies procedures and systems.


Qualifications

About You:

  • Bachelors degree;
  • At least 2 years of experience with operational management;
  • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in KYC/AML and client due diligence reviews preferable in the offshore sector or fund industry;
  • Good communication skills in English both verbal and written;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Excel Word);
  • Proven track record in successfully managing teams Knowledge of the alternative investment and financial industry is an advantage;
