Primary Purpose of Role:
Are you seeking an outstanding opportunity to kickstart your career in Human Resources As an HR Intern at Allison Transmission you will be part of an innovative and fast-paced environment gaining invaluable experience in the manufacturing industry. Our hands-on internship provides a unique learning experience in areas such as employee relations talent management talent acquisition and HR operations and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Intern your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the planning and implementation of select HR programs and projects supporting HR Business Partners and the Centers of Excellence (COE).
Partnering with on-site HR team members and business leaders to deliver high-quality support and people solutions.
Gaining exposure to policy application talent lifecycle performance management and engagement initiatives.
Receiving coaching and mentoring from a comprehensive experienced HR team.

Qualifications:
Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date of May 2026 focusing on Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Have strong organizational and communication skills.
Be able to work up to 16 hours per week during the academic year.
Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Demonstrate a strong interest in understanding the manufacturing sector and HR practices.
