Job Summary

As a Global Account Manager for Life Sciences (LS) you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include identifying great ways to improve outcomes for customers driving revenue & adoption and helping refine the AWS strategy within the LS vertical market segment and building momentum with our largest LS accounts. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is prepared to own define develop and execute a business plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets while thinking strategically about long term customer outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
Help identify key opportunities within global Life Science customers that allow them to get more value AWS cloud solutions.
Drive revenue and market share in assigned accounts.
Meet or exceed revenue targets.
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan.
Accelerate customer adoption.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
Manage contract negotiations.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Expect 30% travel

About the team




- 10 years of technology related sales business development or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience working for technology vendor selling Enterprise solutions
- 10 years of xperience as primary account manager of a global federated enterprise working with multiple business units and influencing governance and policy or equivalent

- Experience identifying developing negotiating and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers
- Experience in management of large complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
- Bachelors degree or MBA in computer science engineering analytics mathematics statistics IT or equivalent
- 7 years of sales management experience in Healthcare Provider and Technology solutions sales

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
