One Spa is part of the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh and we are looking for a Duty Manager to join our award winning luxury Spa. Based over several floors our Spa comprises of 19 metre swimming pool poolside sauna Rooftop Indoor and Outdoor Hydropool an extensive thermal suite numerous treatment rooms a fully equipped gym and studios and a variety of 5 star products and services.
This role involves working 40 hours per week on 5 days out of 7. There will be weekend work and it involves Early and Late shift cover with the earliest start time of 06:00 and the latest finish time of 22.30. This is a floor-based operational role requiring regular movement lifting and or carrying throughout the spa. The associate must be comfortable working in an active environment assisting across various areas as needed. Evening weekend and public holiday work will be required.
Position Summary:
To ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the spa providing exceptional service to guests members and treatment guests. Acting as the main point of contact for all guest feedback and operational issues the Spa Duty Manager supports the team on the floor to deliver a safe welcoming and seamless spa experience.
Responsibilities include:
The role ensures the smooth daily operation of the spa by overseeing staff maintaining high standards of safety cleanliness and presentation and coordinating between teams to deliver seamless guest experiences. It involves welcoming guests warmly managing feedback and complaints professionally and using company systems to track and improve service quality. The position also includes monitoring stock and budgets conducting audits supporting team collaboration and upholding brand service standards. A strong focus on health safety and compliance is required along with active participation in company initiatives such as first aid pool response sustainability and membership programs.
