Job Summary
Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: Exeter (Hybrid)
Role: Permanent Part/Full time available
Salary: 40000 - 55000 per annum (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Our client is an award-winning NHS approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK. They provide high-quality neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards assessments in criminal/prison law family law immigration law and medico-legal cases.
The Role: This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service providing invaluable assessments.
This is a hybrid role for suitably qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for autism and/or ADHD assessments.
Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely the candidate must be able to travel to the Exeter base.
The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools.
The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Must be eligible to work in UK.
- Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/ specialist developmental assessments.
- Knowledge of assessment tools for autism and ADHD.
- ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained.
